It may be cold outside but winter is the perfect time to get your garden prepped and ready for Spring.
Get out those loppers and secateurs and away you go. Remember being bold makes for a good garden come Spring time.
Although many of the plants in your garden are resting, there are some winter-loving plants that still need some TLC. Some winter flowering natives of flowering hedges are some varieties that are still actively growing. Keeping the water up and fertilised will ensure you have a great flowering garden throughout Winter.
For your resting plants, giving them a good feed and keeping on top of pests/insects is going to reward you in the months to come.
So brave the cold and get on out there...........
